COIP is excited to announce the new DesignPLUS sidebar will be available soon. Beginning January 6, 2025 you will be able to use the new DesignPLUS sidebar to edit and create new content in your Canvas courses. VIEW NEW DESIGN PLUS SIDEBAR ROLLOUT TIMELINE
The legacy sidebar will be sunset on December 31, 2025. This Canvas course serves as a learning resource for those who have never used the legacy Design Tool sidebar before, and it is a useful source of information for anyone who uses the tool regularly. It also includes information on the Institutional Design Tools that have been developed specifically for UF.
VIEW LEGACY DESIGN TOOL RESOURCE
A course map is intended to help you organize and plan the learning path for your students and clearly communicate the connection between stated learning objectives and course assignments. When you work with COIP, we will collaborate to create a course map during the early stages of course development. Here is a template of the course map COIP provides to instructors during development.

Once a video has been recorded, faculty will be asked to review and provide feedback on the video. Frame.io is used to deliver the video to faculty. This document explains to faculty what to look for when they review and how to provide feedback.
